In
this novel Terry Pratchett takes on religion. On the Disc, the size of gods depends on the number of believers they have--and Om, a small god, has been stuck in a tortoise for three years. This satire of religion wasn't as funny as some of the other Discworld novels have been--although I liked the bits about the Quisition. I think this novel's set earlier than most of the other Discworld novels, if that might have made a difference....
